Writing on the Internet or in a Hurry To Make a Start?
It's time for you to get involved! What would you like to read next?

You're either already writing online or can't wait to begin.
We're Writing on the Internet has been going out weekly since February 2024. Together, we've discussed every aspect of online writing. Over the last six weeks, you've joined us on our mini-course concentrating on newsletter writing.
And now, I'd love to find out which topics you'd like to see in more depth.
Just a quick read this morning, then—a few suggestions from me, and it's over to you.
Where We're At
Thousands of people see the newsletter each week.
Just think: when you comment on today's issue, readers from 26 countries will see what you have written. (I'm working on the rest—Iceland, I've got my eye on you!)
We've covered everything from grammar and spelling gotchas, style and content choices, and all the way through to reasons to write in the first place.
And so many of you have been kind enough to let me know it's been helpful.
I've also received some friendly feedback regarding how long each issue takes to read.
Many of our previous topics have justified in-depth articles. However, I am conscious that you can only take so much time reading over a sneaky coffee before you get back to more pressing matters!
So, what do you think?
Where Shall We Go?
Over the next few months, I plan to keep things shorter and sharper—more quick hits, tips, and insights.
And I'd love to hear what topics are important to you.
A few ideas to get us started:
Spelling
Grammar
Style and formatting
Planning content decisions
Or, to put it another way:
What's been most useful so far?
What do you want more (or less!) of?
What's missing from all the other newsletter/online writing advice out there?
If you're already a Substack member, head straight to the Comments for today's issue and let us know your thoughts.
Not on Substack? Slip me an email at mark@writingontheinternet.com using the subject line "Plans for the newsletter" or something similar. Don't worry—I'll know it when I see it!
It's your chance to get involved in our future discussions.
And while you're thinking, enjoy that coffee and accept a warm "thank you" from me and the team here at Moore Towers.
We appreciate every second of your time spent with us.
Don't forget to check out my other newsletter, The Dancing Stepdad, for insights into the challenging and rewarding world of step-parenting.
And if you found today's issue helpful, I'll bet you know someone else who'd like it too. Share the love and tell your friends!
